Each of you must make up your own mind about how much to give. But don’t feel sorry that you must give and don’t feel that you are forced to give. God loves people who love to give. God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. The Scriptures say, “God freely gives his gifts to the poor, and always does right.” God gives seed to farmers and provides everyone with food. He will increase what you have, so that you can give even more to those in need. You will be blessed in every way, and you will be able to keep on being generous. Then many people will thank God when we deliver your gift. (II Corinthians 9: 7-11, CEV)
Why We Give
Simply put, we give because God has given us so much, and has given us the greatest gift of all – the Lord Jesus Christ. The tithes we give are used for the support of the worldwide mission of the Adventist Church (including salaries of pastors and teachers). Tithes do not stay in the local Church. The local church budget offerings we give is for the various ministries the Church carries out locally and in the community.
How We Give
We give our offerings in one of two ways: by using the offering envelope in church during worship, or by giving online. Should you choose to donate online, you may do so now. Please note: your donations could be tax-deductible. All donations will receive a receipt at the end of the year.
